A lot of companies are copying our ideas (that's great for YOU) and offering them as THEIR NEW IDEAS in education, but hopefully you will remember who was the first company to offer you FREE education on the internet.

What we hope to show you on this page of our website is actually your alternatives to selecting FACT as your training provider. Why would we provide you with information on our competitors? Simple, because all of them charge you a lot of money for their courses! We couldn't possibly list all of the educational facilities in the world on this page, so we will tell you about the different types, and we will also tell you approximately what they charge for their courses. Hopefully, this will help you to figure out what you can afford, if you decide NOT to choose FREE EDUCATION (FACT) as your means of improving your lot in life.

THE FACILITIES BREAK DOWN INTO THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES

Universities and Community Colleges Everyone knows what these are so I won't dwell on what is meant by a university or a community college

Private Career Colleges This heading is meant to cover the schools that are not publicly funded and provide education in any of the subjects that we teach. This type of an educational facility will usually charge between $5,000 and $10,000 (the price usually includes the cost of the actual exam) for a 6 month to one year course that will involve you spending at least 4 or 5 hours per day in a teacher-led course. With this type of education, you are paying what appears to be a large amount of money, but you are also getting a great deal of hands-on experience, and instruction from a teacher.
This is usually your BEST investment if you can afford both the time and the money.

Authorized Training Centers This category is reserved for the facility that is authorized by a specific company to provide education that is based on the authorizing company's product(s). In most instances, these companies pay thousands of dollars to become authorized.
Guess who gets to actually pay these fees!
Usually, this is aimed more towards businesses. The courses takes three to five days to cover what Private colleges spend weeks (or even months) on. The typical course costs about $1,500 to $2,500 and lasts about 4 days (the price usually includes the cost of the actual exam). During this time, you are expected to learn the material that the instructor is teaching, and somehow find some time to actually use the software being taught. If you are not a computer guru, this will definitely be more than you can handle. These courses usually provide all texts, manufacturer's training manuals, and often a two user version of the actual software.

Workshop-type Seminar Education These are similar in price, style, and glitz to the courses offered by the Authorized Training Centers. They are aimed directly at the same business clients. Prices range from about $1,300 for two days to $2,700 for a full five day seminar. The price usually includes books and exams.

Self taught courses There are many companies out there that have been around for quite a long time providing the average person with distance learning. Most of these are names that you have heard on TV or seen in magazines. This type of a facility will provide you with written, and sometimes computer-based material to assist you in obtaining your goal. These companies can provide you with almost any type of an education (from locksmith to flower arranging). The price of the courses that they have that are similar to what we have to offer are in the $1,000 to $3,000 range. There are also some companies that provide the same glitzy business approach as the last two groups. This type of company is also aimed mainly at large businesses. A third group exists that, like FACT, is aimed at the individual. These are mostly provided by CD, and some others now use the internet. Their prices usually range from several hundred dollars, to about a thousand dollars and most will NOT put ANY prices online. You have to contact them before you can find out how much it is going to cost you.

There you have our definition of what exists out there in the education market.
We are aiming at anyone who might be interested in ANY of the above methods of learning. For some people, we will be a viable alternative. We will save them money, or provide them with the education when THEY want to learn.
