COOKIES AND JAVASCRIPT

This Help screen will show you how to make sure that your Internet Explorer Browser is properly set up to allow the use of Cookies. The first image is a portion of your Browser when you select TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS from the pull-down menu.

The next image shows what is displayed by clicking the above menu item. Note, the area in the middle. If at any time, you have to clear your browser's cache, click the DELETE FILES button. Note the TABs across the top of this menu. The one that we are interested in is the SECURITY TAB. Click it.

Note in the image below that there are actually two menus displayed. The one on left hand side (the one that is partly covered), shows what appears on screen after you have clicked the SECURITY TAB. You will then have to click the CUSTOM LEVEL button (that is partly covered by the menu on the right). That opens the SECURITY SETTINGS screen.

You must make sure that both of the Cookies radio buttons that are displayed are selected.

The last image shows the same security menu as the one above, but further down. Note where it says SCRIPTING, then ACTIVE SCRIPTING, the ENABLE option is set. This is what has to be done to ensure that JavaScript is enabled on Internet Explorer 5.

If ALL of the above changes are not made, FACT's online CBT Viewer will NOT work on your computer. Make the necessary changes, before continuing on.
